Trade

Trade is the purchase and sale of a security. One side buys while the other sells. The main purpose is to make a profit. For the trade to be valid, both parties must agree on a price and quantity of shares.

• Buy: Trading money for the ownership of shares.
• Sell: Selling shares of a stock you own for their monetary value.

The same logic applies to cryptocurrencies: replace security with cryptocurrency and shares of a stock with coins/tokens.
